Biography

Yash Sharma, an alum of premier institutions – BITS Pilani India and HEC Paris, returned to India from Europe to find most efficient methods to solve for the increasing plastic waste problem. He founded the brand Go Rewise, backed by Ganesha Ecosphere the leading PET bottle recyclers in India for the last 30 years. After 2 years of Research and Development with super clean technology that decontaminates Indian post-consumer waste, making it even food grade and safe to be recycled and used again in food contact beverage packaging. This new category of recycled material, has disrupted the FMCG market providing like to like properties to virgin plastics but reducing CO2 emissions by up to 65%, providing a more sustainable, circular alternate that can be kept in loop and recycled multiple times.

Being at the forefront of building a green supply chain for India, with a bold objective to be recycling 25% of India’s PET bottle waste by 2026 and creating a truly circular economy at scale. This state-of-the-art recycling technology produces premium quality, FDA, EFSA, FSSAI certified, food safe recycled materials with Extended Producer Responsibility certification, assuring transparency and traceability in the supply chain to major global FMCG brands.
