Biography

Vishal leads the strategic sourcing for Flexible Packaging and heads the Packaging Sustainability agenda for Asia Middle East and Africa region at Mondelez International.

 With over 10 years of experience in Supply chain & Procurement, he specializes in strategic sourcing, cost optimization and in driving overall manufacturing and supply chain sustainability.

Vishal has a proven track record in creating competitive landscape for sourcing, creating value based strategic partnership along with influencing the organization to select right Sustainability approaches that aligns with overall consumer expectation.

He is passionate about Sustainability in Packaging, Green Power Procurement, and has conducted various workshops helping audiences to evaluate Greener choices at affordable costs.

In addition to his professional work, Vishal actively contributes towards educating students on various topics related to supply chain at multiple levels.

He holds an MBA from IIM Mumbai and a bachelors in Environmental Engineering from Gujarat University.

Vishal is excited to talk on Value Realization through Circularity at PackNxt, aiming to share insights on how collaboration with cross functional team, acting at Design Level and understanding the final consumer need can aid in ensuring the delivery of a Right, Cleaner and Greener product to consumer and society.
